Day 2: On Mistakes
Opportunities within the creative process.
Leafing through my journal, I came across this reminder:
Mistakes are opportunities that want to be discovered.
I’ve learnt that you’ll never arrive at a destination where you’ll be happy with your work.
It’s called a creative practice for a reason. For me, the creative process is like holding up a mirror on life. A constant process of learning what works and what doesn’t. Learning from mistakes and celebrating the wins.
Things don’t always go to plan; there will be setbacks along the way, but just keep iterating and refining, and you’ll be sure to grow as an artist.
